A few weeks back, Discover auto increased my card to $1k (SL was $800). Tried for double dip, no dice. I have been seeing "congrats you are preapproved..." message on revolvers for Amex for a while now. Decided to go for the EDC and was instantly approved for $1600. That's my highest starting limit since I began my rebuild last year.
