Hit the love button on 2/18, looking for a 61 day increase (got the two day message). Just checked online, and there it was - another $3K!
HIs Discover journey began with an approval on 4/22/16 for $4K. Got three $500 increases pretty close together, then in November got an increase for $3K. 31 days later, on December 19th, got his largest increase of $4K, putting his CL at $12.5K. Tried for another on January 19th, but they didn't bite. Looks like he may now be on the 61 day cycle, which is just awesome. The $3K increase today puts him at $15.5K, which is an amazing feat for a couple of reasons. First, the card is only 10 months old. And, secondly, he has a Chap 7 bk that was d/c less than three years ago (Discover was not IIB).
Thank you, Discover, for giving my hubby a chance last April! Great company/bank!
Congrats on the increase!
Every other month seems optimal right now with Disco. It's even more impressive that they let him in with a BK so fresh and also GROW exponentially within less than a year! Keep up the hard work and resist the urge to open new accounts to grow this beast. Disco is a heavy weight when the ball starts moving.
Niiiiiice!!! Congrats!!

Thanks so much, austin, for your kind words and good advice! Hubby was planning on apping for the Discover Miles card at his one year mark, but they've been so generous with his It card, he's probably going to put that off until 2018.

Thank you, kuku!
2018 is a good idea although it would probably be approved at the 1 year mark. Letting things age and keeping Miles for a moment when/if you need another 0% period even though Disco is known to give concurrent 0% offers when they expire. There shouldn't ever be an urgency when it comes to applying for something new. Just plot and plan things out for what you need as you need it and it all works out.
You're welcome!
That is awesome! Congrats to him!
