Just checked the PreQual for Discover out of curiousity. I had a Discover IT secured card for a few years now that just unsecured about a year ago but I haven't been able to get it to budge above the $1500 line it was bumped to when it unsecured. Also had periodically checked the PreQual link with Discover and never had any offers. This time I had the Discover it Cash Back and I think the Discover it, but the 5% on the Cash Back seemed like the better option and went ahead and applied.
Got an instant approval, checked the SL and looks like I got $7500, so not too bad at all. Do have two NFCUs @ 15k, but this does make my third highest limit card.
