I' ve been working on my credit for the past couple of years. Student loans kill my score about 2 years ago, I had my CS up to a 696 and my deferment went through a day late. So I had a late payment and knock a 100 points off my CS. Well since then it was a up hill battle. I decided to take a chance on a new card. I already had a CP secured with only a $500 CL and then got a GM Buypower card with a $500 CL
had those for over 3 years and no love from capitalone for a increase. Well discover just approved me for a 7k chrome card and get a Amazon prime stored 1.5k in the same day. CS below a 640. Pretty excited.

Congrats on the Discover approval and great SL. That's awesome and it'll grow fast. Just remember, wait about 3 days or so after your 3rd statement cuts for an auto CLI. IMO, Most of the times the CLI seems bigger when they're auto than hitting the Luv button. But I guess who really knows.
