I applied for Discover IT.

Got a message, I didn't get it but I qualified for the regular

Discover card - I accepted.

Only 800 Sl but at least my foot is in the Discover door.

I hope with use they will increase my credit limit.

Congrats!

Give it about two months minimum before requesting a CLI. Anytime before that you may have a bad time and get refused if you do it via the website.

I got a Discover it about two months ago, with a $3K limit; my goal for this card is $5K and went on today to request a CLI and was approved for a $500 increase. Wish it was more but better than nothing.

My experince with Discover is that if you treat it right, it will treat you very well!

Year 2012: All Scores in the 520 range, during a foreclosure, CC Settlement and high UTIL. Very ugly days...
April 2024: EX8: 840; EQ8: 832; TU8: 842 -- Middle Mortgage Score: 822

Congrats to you on getting in with Discover! +1 what skydawg said. Use it, pay on it, treat it well and they'll take notice. Some have been getting their 1st increases as early as 60 days, and quite a few at the 91 day mark. Enjoy your card!
