I honestly believe that the use of a balance transfer offer triggered these unheard of cli's in my case. This is my first discover card that started as a secured card with $200 limit. Took 30 months to finally graduate with a $750 limit. Used the card just for purchases and every cli request was denied. Back in October I did a small b/t just to see how it worked. Requested cli in November, approved for $950 increase. Requested in December, approved again for $500 increase. Requested in January, approved with $300 increase. Seems like my train ride is slowing down and coming to stop. Think I'll let the cli button rest a while and try again in six months. The ride was nice while it lasted!!
