Secondly, thanks for the information provided between your two post.

I had a card closed in 2000 (I think that is correct) and I always wondered why I was instantly approved upon Id verification without Diacover asking/mentioning anything about that closed card, not that remember any details about it.

I am where I am today and I love using my Discover card for the 5% rotating categories.

I wish the quarterly spending cap could be raised 😪 but I feel they make up for that with great promotional offer on 0% for purchasing and the occasional BT offers.

Congratulations! And thanks for the interesting information.

I filed a ch13 bk in 2012, discharged in 2017, and included Discover in that. I got a new Discover card in 2019 with a 3k SL and have been denied a CLI ever since, citing "past experiences" basically. So now I have a bit of a time frame I can put on it I guess. Good to know! I am aware of the notorious AmEx blacklist, but didn't know about Discover's.
