Excite CU, a sf bay area CU called out of blue, and offered me a no HP 25k cash reward card...

I had thought it was a spam / scam for sure...but the lady on the phone knew I haven't been using either of the account much...

Initially I said no, since I just got a HELOC, a DCU visa, and AOD visa...

But then she said no HP and I am already preapproved for 25k...so I thougth why not...3 days later, a new CC showed up in my account for the said 25k.

I just looked up the card, and it seems to be a 1% cash back card...Nothing too "excite"...

Not sure what they pulled, as they told me it woudln't be an HP, and I havne't got any alerts yet either.

Fico 8 around 780 for all 3 CBR.

1% util, lots of new accounts lately...thou most haven't showed up yet : )
