Express, A&F, VS, The Buckle (amongst several) have the standard 9-month rule for the first CLI (despite that some folks keep hitting the button month after month), and provided an automatic one hasn't been granted before that timeframe. J.Crew, on the other hand, can grow within a few hours or days from account opening. I once left it by the kitchen table, a fruit fly landed on it, and voila!... CLI.
