This has been three years in coming. I started out with my first Capital One card back in 2012. I got a second card with Capital One in 2016. I have balances on both of those that I am working to pay off, as the summer of 2016 was very cash-starved. But since then, I have added three more cards, 1 Discover and 2 AMEX.
Throughout this process, I have applied for one Chase card or another twice, with no luck. The first was the Chase Freedom in 2018, and the second was the Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier card at the end of this past October. But I have been making progress, I knew I was going to have a couple larger purchases coming up and needed a new card. I wanted to get something from Chase before I reached 5/24, and I was finally APPROVED four days ago: Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority!
