@nuggets321 wrote:Discover is my favorite card, their rewards program is the most hastle free of my credit lineup. I tried to get a cli via online chat (from 3k to 5k) and got shot down, the chat CSR actually had some personality and I didnt feel all dejected after the chat session. At the end she gave me a number to call a credit analyst so I went fwd with it. He said that they would have to do a hard pull (to which I agreed) and after about ten minutes of answering various questions and being on hold twice, he came back and said that due to my strong payment history that he would increase to 5k ! This was at 1030 this morning and Im still smiling with my small accomplishment !
congrats on the cli

5k is a huge milestone since it opens doors for companies like other Visa signiture cards =) Chase Sapphire for example they do NOT like being the first card issuer with a high limit =)
