FNBO Evergreen Approved

Just as the title says, I was approved for the FNBO Evergreen Visa Signature card!

Data points:

- Open BK 13 (5yr, matures March 2023)

- Have the FNBO MGM MasterCard ($9.3k), opened November 2021 - coming up on my eligibility for my first SP increase May 29, according to customer service

- Checked FNBO prequal every weekend for about 8 weeks and only came back as preapproved for the secured card

I cold app'd for the Evergreen card this evening, even though it didn't show any preapproval for it. I had a feeling that having one of their existing cards would help me out, even though it's a co-branded card. I figured it was worth the HP because the only other inquiry on EX is the other FNBO card.

I'm excited to utilize the 2% cash back on this new card and put my MGM card in the drawer!

I know that it differs with results, but i have had the most success myself cold apping as opposed to simply taking up preapprovals many times. The percentages over the years of credit history bare that out from my experience. With even no preapproval for you that step was in your favor after all.
