FNBO Prime Amex Approved :)

I received a prescreen offer in the mail for the 3.75% APR prime for life offer. Applied this past Saturday and got the 14-21 pending notice. I checked my application status today and I was approved for 15k starting line. Very happy! I have a few large purchases I will making this year, so the lower APR will come in handy.

The APR is low because you have to pay $89 a year for the privilege of paying interest.

A  0% intro APR card with no annual fee is a better bet for most people.

I agree! However, in my case, I have all the major prime cards apart from Chase. My lowest APR is the Barclay Ring at 8.5% with a much lower credit line. I think this card is best suited for those that tend to carry a balance over three months or more. Probably not useful uless you are spending upwards of 10k or more.

Thanks everyone!

Very happy! It suits my needs. Maybe I'll get lucky and one day they will wave the annual fee after some heavy usage. Cat LOL
