I was originally going to wait another month but I pulled my Experian FICO score yesterday and when I saw that it was 739 I decided to pull the trigger. I applied for the CSP at my local bank branch and was approved for 5k. I realize this is the minimum but I am still very pleased for an instant approval with no re-con. Here's my stats: 8 inquiries on Experian (4 within last 6 months) Experian FICO 739, overall utilization 13%, was carrying a balance on 2 of my own cards 1063/6000 and 86/1500 and on 3 cards I am AU on 650/1500, 159/500 and 49/500. AAoA is 9 months bc of several new accounts but my oldest bank card was right at 1yr.
After being approved I closed my Cap1 secured card. It sure felt good.
