Finally approved for Discover CLI

I paid off the last $300 on my account and requested a cli and was approved for $300 to my disappointment. I called in to customer service and was transferred to an account specialist and I asked if I can my limit can be increased more since I have had the card for exactly a year now. He looked over the account and said the limit can be increased to $2000. Thats fine with me. Discover denied me so many times it feels good to at least double my limit.

And to clarify: CL was 1K & rec'd $300 CLI & $700 call-in CLI for new limit of 2K?

Correct. Original cl was 1k and I hit the luv button and received $300. I called in and received another $700 to make it a total 1k increase. Now it’s time to work on my Amex cards with 1k limits. They keep denying me when I request an increase. But my Experian score is not that good 659 compared to EQ 672 TU 684.
