First Discover CLI - it's not much, but it's more than I had this morning

Hello everybody,

I finally got a $500 CLI on my Discover card today, although I had to ask (from $3000 to $3500). Third statement just cut, day 113 with the card.

It's not much, but it's more than I had this morning. I was planning on contacting the Credit Analysts if I was turned down again.

Oh well, next step is to find out which train I'm on (I suspect it's the 90 day one, but my credit score may take a nice boost if the new CRA reporting rules work out the way I think they will since both of my baddies will fall off). 

It's not a major thing, but it's nice to be recognized for my paying the card in full every month.

Glad you got something, and as of late, theres not really a "schedule" anymore. Discover is all over the place now, and those that are normally on the 91 day train, arent getting them anymore. Im one of them. Good luck in your future with them, and congrats!

$500 is a solid upgrade in the limit IMO. I'd be estatic to get such a CLI on any of my cards.

Congratulations on your Disco CLI. Although it was $500 you did get an increase. I have had a Disco card for almost 2 years and I have yet to receive a cli of any kind. I have requested both online and with a representative, with the same results. I have received cli with Chase for $5000 and opened a CSR with a $5000 sl. Yet Discover will not give anything. SMH. I've decided not to ask for another credit line increase with them until January 2018. And until then the credit card goes in the sock drawer. However I'm wishing you many more credit line increases with like the limits.

I've gotten my first 300 dollar increase last Friday after like 4 months but then again, I carry a balance so I already know why they don't like me as much. LOL!

Congratulations on theCLI! A lot of people would be happy to get $500 out of Disco right now. On multiple forum platforms, a lot of people are saying that DISCO is all over the place with their CLI. The good thing is most if not all requests are done via a SP.
