Congratulations!!!
@Strongbad2 I haven't found out if they do a pull. From my understanding (so far), I simply have to add funds to the savings account and call them up to increase the limit. I'm still waiting on the card to arrive and then I'll probably give them a call to see what will happen.
Congratulations!
I would say just use the card and make frequent payments to keep the utilization % low. Then apply for one of their unsecured cards on after 3 months. You will most likely get approved for a much nicer SL as long as your CR remains the same or improved.
@Vu thanks for the suggestion. My only worry is having the BK just discharged in early July, they won't like an unsecured app until 1 year post BK. Is this different with NFCU once you have a secured card with them for a time?

Sorry for not reading your post properly. You are correct that NFCU does not approve any unsecured cards within 1 year after BK discharge. My apologies.
While we all feel a level of impatience, please take solace in the fact that you are starting your journey... there are numerous individuals on these boards that were in the same situation as you. Paying your card in full each month if you can, keep overall utilization low, after a year of discharge, try Capital one or Discover and see what they offer you. In the intrim, keep NFCU happy and I assure you, they will take really good care of you. NFCU is legendary in granting great CL's and terms.
Stay the course, its not a sprint its a journey, I wish you all the best!!
