Cap one is pretty forgiving. I burned them also and they gave me the same card and a few months later a QS. Since your pretty recent bk I would wait a few months and use that card before trying for a second.
Congratulations on your approval!
Congratulations mate on your rebuild

Ch7 discharged 12/2018.....burned Capital One for almost $30K....just been approved for the Platinum card at $500 with the Credit steps. This is my first card since being discharged, would like to apply for one more but don’t wanna push my luck and not sure who else is open to recent BKs. So I’ll just enjoy this one!
Congrats!
Hi so I discharged in October of 2018 and waited about a month to apply for anything, I started with the Discover IT secured card for 500 and then was approved for Cap One, Capital One was included in my BK. Here is what I have been able to get - I am now gardening so hoping to get my score up higher. I very rarely carry a balance on anything for more then one cycle and have kept my utilization under 10% and my FICO has gone up about 100 points:
Pier One -500
Kohls- 500
Saks - 1000
Bergdorf- 1000
Overstock - 500
Helzberg- 2001
Express - 500
Neiman Marcus-750
Lord and Taylor -750
Discover secured- 500
Capital one mastercard -500
