First time ever...

Applying for a credit card and getting instant approval!!! Nothing too fancy but it's the first step in a long journey up to this point. Capital One Platinum unsecured $300 SL! Baby steps work and I'm good with that!!! Thanks to everyone on the board for all the awesome information! This place rules!!!

Re: First time ever...

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S on your new Credit Card and your nice Spneding Limit. That is very manageable. Put a new low cost monthly bill (Cell Phone, DirecTV Now, YouTubeTV, etc) on there...pay it off once it charges. And start building a pattern of using and paying. Build your credit profile real quick.

Re: First time ever...

Thanks everyone! Put a few small bills on the card and also the cable/internet bill, about $150/month total and will PIF before the due date. My old cap1 secured card with the $200 limit will now be designated to the fuel card only! Yay!!! Again, thanks to all that give excellent advice on how to rebuild!
