Fluctuating BBVA CP Pre-approval Approval

I already have two 10k SL CCs with BBVA from 2019. Both were preapproved. But as detailed here, the preapproved amount didn't start at $10,000. So I wasn't too surprised when about 4 months ago my preapproved amount for a 3rd card dropped from 10,000 to 7500. And the longer it wouldn't budge the more I now wanted the card ("Please let it go back up to 10,000 and I won't ask for anything else ... this month?")

Yesterday I did the monthly check and it seems my profile has become more appealing to the eye of the algorithm god -- APPROVED $12,000 SL.
