So just joined after following, reading and learning for a couple months now. Filed for BK 06/2016 and I think dropped the ball by not getting any credit cards until last June. Approved then with a Credit One card ($1700 SL), Kohls ($300SL) and a Buckle card($250SL). Didn't really do much after that till I found this site and began reading up.
So last month was approved for a Cap1 Plat with no fee $3k SL and a Discover It $1800 SL. And I see now what you all mean about getting app crazy! Was approved in the last few days for Lowes $1k SL, Overstock (SP) $550 SL (did automated call twice after approval and increased to $2050 SL then $3550 SL). Also Wayfair (SP) $3500 SL (did two automated calls also and went to $6000 SL then $7500 SL). I didn't dare call again.
In the last month I have went from $2250 credit limit up to $19,100.
My question is did I do too much too fast? And I know I need to "garden" as you all call it but for how long?
Current Fico from Creditchecktotal is: EX: 673. TU: 649. EQ: 671
Thanks!

Congrats and WelcomeIts ok, it happens. But for sure , give it 6 months to let your cards breathe. Youll be in a much better place if you decide to app in 6 months. Also, jmo, but you are way past the need for Credit One now.
+1
Congrats on your approvals!
I would garden at least 6 months. Let your accounts age a bit.
Dont worry about “too fast”, what’s done is done. Besides, not many on this forum can claim to do things the slow way 😂
Edit @simplynoir @AverageJoesCredit 😂 we were all within seconds of posting.
Thanks. And yes, I planned on getting rid of Credit One before June when the Annual fee is charged.
