Congratulations on your mega-CLI! Very unusual for Cap1. I was never able to get mine over a $1600 limit even after years of being in "prime" territory, so I closed it in 2020.

Sure, I outlined my usage to Anonomalous upthread.

My fico's are in the 680's - 690's range, my inqs are  17.

My new accounts are quite a few  4/6 mos,7/12 mos, 13/24 mos.

It seems, at least in my case its better not to request a cli.

my auto cli's on this card were 1500 and 3000, my requested cli was 200.

also something about letting a balance post pleases them, i did the same thing with the target red card and grew it from 300 - 1000, plus on the red card i only update my income when it actually goes up, once a year.

Congrats...  Cap1 Quicksilver was my first card when I started rebuilding last Aug, $500 CL.  Since then I've gotten a $100 CLI from them, lol.  I sockdrawed the card last spring but have 2 charges to the card monthly ($120 or so each month).  I paid the AF this year only b/c it's my oldest card.  I'll probably cancel it next Aug, not worth the hassle if they aren't going to show me any love.
