Re: Giant cap 1 cli out of the clear blue sky

Very nice increase. Congrats 🍻

Cap 1 sure didn't like me. My QS was at $500 and Platinum was at $800. I gave up and closed both of them 2 yrs ago 🤷🏻‍♂️

Before my bk7 i had a cap 1 QS that stayed at 500 for 20 years, ouch.

in fact i had 6 cap 1 cards then and none of them grew, 2 QS, 2 platinum, i forget what the other 2 were, 500 x2, 500x2, 1500, 2100 .respectively.

At one point back then i had 7 cap 1 cards but i closed 1. it was a time when cap 1 was buying other banks thats how i wound up with so many cap 1's.

Nice! I just tried for a CLI and they won't budge for me. My QS was my go to card for everything in the past before I applied for other cards. Now I only keep it for history.

The QS in your siggy is a nice limit, 7300.

Actually 5k on any of my cards is an adequite limit for me. I really dont spend a lot per month, somewhere between 1000 and 2000 depending on my needs. I am retired and have no need for high limits.

Its nice to have the higher limits in case of emergency though.

Nice CLI!  I'm using my SavorOne as my main daily driver (luckilly it covers most of my biggest spend areas at 3%) to try and get a CLI as soon as I am eligble.  Hopefully your SavorOne will get a decent bump in the future too.

My last cli's on the savor one and QS were 1 week apart last time but SO only gave me 100 and QS only gave me 200.

If i get lucky again i might get a cli on my savor one soon, i wont request i will just see if they automatic me.

I use the SO the second most of my cards 400 - 600 a month, the only card i use more is  the NFCU cash rewards.

Fingers crossed for both of us.

i heard Cap1 can be stingy at times.  I'm glad you received some of their generosity.
