Good Spree Now Off To The Garden

Currently rebuilding my credit. Paid off for deletion 4 out of the 6 baddies I had. Only 2 still showing as I'm paying 1 down monthly. 1 I will dispute.

Bankruptcy discharged 2016 still showing on all reports.

Cards I've had for a few years, that got CLs in the last couple of months/weeks as I begin working on credit again:

-Cap One Quick silver (was a Platinum but just upgraded a few days ago. I called customer service) - $750 >> $1.7k

-Cap One Platinum - $500 >> $1.1k

-Cap One Walmart (slowww climb) - $500 >>$750

March 2022:

Cap One Platinum ( bringing my total to 3 charge cards from Cap One) - $1k

Just within the last few weeks/days 🙈:

Discover - $1.4k

Upstart personal loan - $7k

Mission Lane Visa (no AF) - $1k

Bob's Furniture - $4k through Vive Financial

Lowe's - $1k (actually $1037)

Firestone - $1.1k

Kohl's - $300

Target - $300

SCT:

Overstock - $400

NY&Co - $350

I also joined PenFed with a savings and opened a checking.

Fico 8:

EX - 629

TU - 619

EQ - 619

Household income - $110k

So how long should I be gardening?!?! 🥴😅

Congratulations on your approvals and CLIs! I would suggest gardening for at least a year. With all of these new accounts and inquiries, you will likely be greeted with denials and low limits if you app for more cards before then.

Current Cards (in order of approval):

Current FICO 8 | 9 (April 2024):
Credit Age:
Inquiries (6/12/24):

Oh, I forgot to add Bob's Furniture - $4k through Vive Financial. I believe I'm blacklisted by Wells Fargo for a student loan 20 years ago. I was in default but I did PIF eventually.

Congrats on your approval and CLI's. If that CA is accurate. Dont dispute it hoping to have it removed. It comes back verified and updated and there goes some points. Enough hits for now with 8 new accounts. Garden--------------------->

Ok noted! It's a CA that's under $100. It's for a cable box that I really did return via UPS but I'm guessing it was lost in transit. Couldn't find the tracking receipt to prove. I'll just pay for delete then. Thank you!
