I had an itch to apply for a card and chose the Goodyear from Citi retail. I am brand loyal and will get nice rebates on tires. $3000 limit after calling in to verify my identity.

Home Depot... i’ve had to card since 2012 with a $1000 starting limit. Around 2015 they gave me an auto increase of $500. It made zero sense to me that it should be that low. It needed to be higher than its Citi retail brother. Asked for an $18500 increase online. Recieved a 24 hour message. Got an email today. Approved...$20000.

So my Citi retail exposure HD $20K, Best Buy (visa) $20K, Goodyear $3K, Shell $1.3K.

Citibank DoubleCash $15000.
