I got approved for the Google Financing card last week because I was shopping their site for the black friday/cyber monday deals. I was approved for 1200 which was more than enough for what I was buying but the process has not been smooth. At the time of request I recieved a notification that "SYNCH/GOOGLE" had pulled my transunion report. The next day I got another notification that "SYNCHRONY BANK" had pulled my transunion again! Needless to say I called Synchrony and raised a complaint; according to one of the less used, bad-interfaced apps, WalletHub, the inquiry was removed today, but I am waiting for one of my other apps to verify this.
