So, a couple of weeks ago, I got an invitation letter for a "Pre-Qualified" HSBC Cash Rewards MC with 0% interest on purchases and BTs for 12 months, 3% cash back on upto $10k for 12 months, then 1.5% ,etc. Tried applying online, but then it told me I have an existing account. It's been many years since I had an account with HSBC (my cards were Orchard/Household that were acquired by Cap1). After several calls and long hold times, eventually got to a rep who took my app over the phone, which was a 40 min long ordeal, then...bingo!...$5,000 instant approval.

So, update...Got the card a few days ago and just for kicks hit the luv button and got the "2 to 3 day" message. Looked today and a nice $1,250 increase to $6,250

Thanks all. Forgot to mention that this is a World Mastercard (My first above "Platinum" level card). Apparently, per another user on a different thread they are upgrading Cash Rewards cards to World now, even though there is currently no mention of the Cash Rewards card being "World" MC, like their Premier ones.
You could probably hit it again and get more. I got two CLI's in the first 45 days having my card. My third attempt said I was denied because I haven't had the card for 12 months yet.
