Finally after closing on our house I was able to go on an app spree I only had a USAA secured credit card for around 2 years, FICO scores in the low-mid 700s and annual income of 60k. I do not plan on obtaining a loan or anything in the near future and I'm still very young so I figuered now would be the best time to start my credit card portfolio and to let all of them grow together and have my inquiries fall off at the same time. Here is the outcome:
Approved:
Lowes Store Card $17,000
Navy Fed CashRewards Visa $7,100
Delta Gold Amex $6,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred $5,000
Hilton Honors Amex $4,000
Discover It Card $3,000
USAA Rate Advantage Visa Platinum $3,000
Amazon Store Card $2,000
Penfed Promise Visa Card $1,000
Total: $48,100
Denied:
CapOne Venture
CapOne Quicksilver
BoA BankAmericard
Home Depot (oddly enough)
Very happy with the outcome! I will close my USAA secured visa now and hop in the garden!
Congrats on the approvals. Did you apply for all of these cards on the same day? Have you received any reasons for the cards you got denied for?
Quite a spree! Congrats on the approvals. Funny about HD
Sync post new accounts super fast! I was wondering why the denial for Cap1 but now it makes sense.
Glad you got your CSP before you hit 5/24!
Congratulations, thefirtree, on your mortgage and the nice approvals!
Congrats, you have some nice cards in there! I'm planning on doing a mini spree after I close in late March. Did you use your old or your new address to apply? Wasn't sure how that worked when people app right after closing.

I apped for a few cards after my closing. I used the new address, but I had rented from the sellers for a month before closing, so the address was established.
