In 2013 I got serious about (re)building my credit and getting my general financial life in order.
I had a friend who was kind enough to add me as AU to two amex accounts, 1 charge and 1credit, and let me pay for my charges directly to amex.
In 2014 I was approved for a QS1 for $300 and Brooks Brothers store card 1k.
Since then I've been gardening for all intents and purposes. But the time has come to share the fruits of my labor.
In October 2015 I was approved for Discover it 2k, January 2016 Amex PRG NPSL seems to be somewhere around 3k, March 2016 Marriot Rewards 5k, May 2016 Citi DC $700, and July 2016, today in fact, JetBlue Plus 7k.
And that QS1 has been increased a few times to its current $7.3k
I'm done until the next 100k platinum offer comes around.
My utilization is usually 20-25% because of the lower limits, scores FICO 663eq 655ex 669tu
