I was trying to cool it on Amex Sub's for a while as I've gotten 6 within the past 16 months. So I referred my fiancee for the SPG luxury card. She got the dreaded popup. Opened a Delta Gold card hit required spend and then closed it at the year mark.
This lead me to decide to app for the Hilton Aspire as I stay at Hiltons occasionally for work and have some personal Hilton/SPG stays coming up with the NZ Mistake Fare.
Will be adding the SPG luxury card for myself at a later date if I cant get her approved with the SUB.
