Went on Home Depot prequalify site and boom said I was good to go. So I applied and boom approved. But for only 2k this one oh no. Any advise on increasing or just give it time? Any help would be great thanks everyone. Oh and when I got my approval it said EQ score was a 699. I believe this makes it 4 Citi cards in 2 weeks.

It's a hard pull for a CLI. I started with $5k, made a couple purchases over a 6 month period. At the 6 month mark I requested a CLI online and they doubled my limit with a hard pull.

You might be able to call in and see if tgey can give abit more . Let them know you need to make some purchases but your limit isnt sufficient. But only if it isnt another hp. This account is usually hp for cli so when you do request, aim high and let them counter. Congrats

I second the aim high. My limit was 5K for a long time; probably 3 or 4 years IIRC. I requested a CLI over the phone on it a few weeks ago and increased my line from 5K to 25K. I did incur a hard pull and some financial resource questions but it was worth it in my opinion. Good luck.
