Since I gave up my Gold Spade (Garden Escapee at Large
)
You can't leave the Garden for only ONE APPLICATION!!
So, I closed my Flagship rolled the CL into my Platinum & #1 MoreRewards card.
I had already got the Flagship SUB last March. Out of sheer boredom and being a garden escapee (Penfed Plat. approval)
I thought I would check the Navy Prequal's? .. came back "Files Locked" unlock and try again. so I thawed TU who they pull,
for new cards, ran the prequal, came back approved for "ALL" cards. I said well, lets try this.
I applied for 2nd MoreRewards, as it has the best sign up bonus .. and BOOM!
The APR is not that great, but my Plat is at 5.99% and MoreRewards #1 is at 9.65%
I actually do not plan on keeping it a MoreRewards, after the Sign up bomus of 25,000 points,
I will probably PC it to another Platinum card, after I ask for the 91/3 CLI.
I will also request an APR reduction @ one year!
Don't ask me how this works!?!?, I do not have a clue
Mostly just trial and error .. or .. trial by FIRE
