Congratulations OP!

I have been coveting the Discover card for almost two years..BNK was discharged in Dec 2011. It has been two years and today I pulled the trigger...and was APPROVED! I got the 5-7 day message and they asked me to set up an online account and I knew at that point I had a chance. So I called the backdoor number and spoke to a really nice guy and he just had some questions about employment and what not and...BAM! I didn’t get the lowest interest rate, but I am ok with that because I am in the family! I am not sure which report they pulled but I know my Wal-Mart TU is 638 as of Jan 3, 2014. So I DISCOVERed that there is life after BNK!
Congrats and welcome to the Discover family! Very nice
Ofcourse...my starting CL is $1500 and the APR is the highest at 22.9%. I know its high, but I plan on using it and PIF religiously so I can have my APR reduced eventually.
Congrats, OP!! Welcome to the Discover family and treat the card well!! I've just change my card to the Garnet design, and it looks pretty darn cool...so don't forget about the new design options!

Congrats on the Discover IT! And if PIF, then the higher rate won't affect you! I'm sure I have higher than "ideal" rates on my cards, too. But like you, hoping to eventually get those down & CLs up. Congrats again & enjoy your new plastic!
