Congrats on your shiny new AMEX!
Congrats on the approval!
Congrats on your Amex Delta Skymiles Approval🎉👍
Way to go ghost!👀
Congratulations! I'll probably get one of their cards someday. They're the airline I probably use the second most and they are always sending me emails. Enjoy the SUB!
Nicely done, congrats on getting the reserve card
Congratulations on your approval!
Hey Guys! Thank you all so much My new card just arrived (already!) and i have to say I'm pretty excited that it's one of metal ones! I know that's kind of silly but I thought only the gold was metal.
Anyway a few people were asking about my current credit situation in regards to getting approved for this so here it all is. Like I said I have been really working at my credit for the last eight or so months and have made some really good progress. All my scores were in the mid 500s last year at this time and I honestly wasn't even that worried about it. I hadn't tried for new credit in ages and had a couple of cards that I was happy(ish) with. A Capital One QS1 $850 and a Secured American Express from USAA $3300 (they don't offer this anymore). I'm fairly certain that having that USAA Amex for the past 4 years had a little something to do with my approval yesterday. I never carried much of a balance and have an exeptional payment history. As far as the other stuff on my report I just had a charge off finally clear and I negotiated to get 6 late payments off my report, plus I paid to remove 2 small collections. I currently still have 2 lates from an old Cap1 that I'm still working on but they're from 2016 so not terribly concerned. My current scores are:
Equifax- 630
Experian- 673
Transunion-688
For all intents and purposes I should not have been approved for this card so you can imagine how shocked and excited I was!
@Ficoproblems247 Also I was wondering if you think I should close the credit one platinum account I opened in December of 2019 to help build my credit or keep it for a while longer? It now has a $1000 CL but I won't be using it anymore. Thanks for any input you may have.
