I applied for a CLI 4 weeks ago online through Capital One. I called and was told by a specialist that they had up to certain amount of days to review my account. Well today I received a call from the fraud department; approved for 3k raising my Venture to 18k. Not bad for a SP,.especially with Capital One being reserved at times with increases. My Venture is 4 months old.

Yes, i was told by fraud department that by law they have to verify my identity due to the credit protection service I have with all 3 credit bureaus. It was a soft pull, so I am wondering why this verification was needed.
