I wish I could have these hunches with the horses or the lottery!

Hello everybody,

Every so often, I get a hunch that I will get lucky with an app or two. The last couple of days are a fine example of how this happens.

On Saturday, I joined Sam's Club, using an online link that gave me a $10 gift card, $25 in Vudu credits and a free pizza. I then decided to go for their card. Instant approval, $2,400 temporary limit.

Tonight, I got a hunch on Fifth Third's Stand Up 2 Cancer Mastercard. I had been turned down for this card about a year ago due to my credit score at the time. I was concerned about Fifth Third being conservative and/or inquiry sensitive, but something told me to go for it. Instant approval, $6,500 SL.

I wish I could do this with the horses or the lottery. 

Here are the datapoints: TU - 736. A lot of inquiries and accounts in the last 17 months.

Back to the garden I go.

I Love Sams Club pizzas. I also love their meat department.

I'm with you on the lottery.  I come so close to winning it,  I only miss  by 6 numbers.  Congrats on the cards!
