In the garden, but got a shopping cart trick

So I'm in the garden right now since I'm rebuilding after chapter 7. Got a car loan, Kohls card ($21/$300) and USAA Amex card ($100/$400). Figured I'd garden with those for 6-12 months and keep adding to the security on the USAA account. However, i went to Victoria's Secret site to order a couple of things for my wife that she wanted, and apparently got the shopping cart trick with a pre approval for their card. I went ahead and accepted it since she shops there kind of often and I figure we will get some use out of it. So it's now at $139/$250 until I get the card and know the account info to pay it off.
Back to the garden.

The limit on this card grows quickly with use...I got mine w/sct...... ..with 250.00 limit only initiated one increase with them, all others were automatic every 4 months it's currently at 2200.00. I used it a lot at xmas last year, stacked up lotsof angels points.

Congrats. That card will grow. Mine started at 500 now it's 5200. Last 2k was auto. Who needs that much VS?

For people that shop at VS regularly, the Angel Card rewards structure is worthwhile.   I think it's a good fit into your rebuilding goals and it will certainly grow with time.   IIRC, it may take the full 9 months to get your first CLI.   However, once that happens, you'll get CLIs on a more frequent basis.   Many people on these boards have had successful rebuilds with the help of an Angel Card.   Congrats on your approval!
