Just approved for Venture, no info re interest rate?

Just was approved for Venture, got a $30k limit, but saw nothing on the screen, before I closed it, about the interest rate.  I'm assuming, based on the limit and my scores, I should get the lowest interest rate, but when I tried to check on it (via chat), they said I would have to wait till I got the "welcome materials."  I expected some kind of email confirming my approval and didn't get one of those, either.  Was thinking maybe the email would tell me.  

So I guess I'm in the dark till they get around to sending out the info?

I know, first-world problem, lol.  And it probably won't matter, as I pay off any of my rewards cards on a monthly basis.  Just annoying they don't tell you that up front.

Congratulations, LexieCat! That is a nice SL, and I can't imagine you wouldn't get the lowest APR either. I had to wait 'til I got my QS in the mail to see the interest rate. Like you, I tried calling but no go. Good luck!

Wow! Congratulations! I'm in the exact same boat! I was approved on the 27th for 30k, but no APR. I've been calling the App line everyday, and have been told same as you. It's a little frustrating considering I applied for the Venture card hoping to get a lower APR than my QS. My plan is to combine down the line. Guess we will just have to be patient. 😕

Congrats! I got the Venture with just a $15k SL a little more than a month ago and I didn't know my APR until it came in the mail at 18%. Meh. Feels cool in the hand since it's a metal card!

Congratulations! Would you mind sharing your FICO scores at time of app? Do you carry another card with Cap 1?

I always use the prequalifier. In the past, all of my Cap1 approvals have shown the APR before I accepted the offer. Have they changed it?

For what it's worth... I have a much lower EQ score than you (760) and got the lowest rate at the time of 12.9%.
