Could you share some data points?  How long have you had your csrd?

My scores are in my signature here. I had opened the card back in 2014 November when we purchased our house and bought appliances using that card. Starting limit was $6000 and then due to heavy balances on my other cards , they decreased my limit to $4100. After i paid off all my balances this year, the limit is now increasing. I barely use the card though anymore. Just keep it for the CL.

I have ton of inquiries though on my reports now. Which is why i will be waiting a year to go after some other cards. And also have a 7 year old late payments on Equifax and Transunion which are waiting to drop by September/October timeframe.

I really really really want to APP for this card. I use Lowes a lot for work and expense the receipts. My only concern (besides the fact I've opened 13 accounts in a year haha) is the horror stories I've heard from Synch. I got the Amazon card which I was already nervous about but some people say Synch will rip your credit limit apart if your score drops. 

I'm planning to only go up and up but still makes me nervous.

Yes they do decrease credit limit if your score drops. But that does make sense. They won’t just do it overnight, they will monitor how long you carry high balance or how you are trying correct your credit score drop reasons. If it extends for long then they will rip your limit. But that applies to any creditor. Sync is one of the best to give you CLI frequently
