I researched and helped her apply. She isn't the most tech savvy. The reason for the 0% offers was mostly to cover the remodel of a home while not maxxing out the credit lines. We have a baby on the way and wanted enough that if either repairs or something related to the baby caused a little more delay in her return to work we had the piece of mind of some flexibility. We wanted to save as much liquid cash for her time off. In all likeliness a couple of these cards will go without much use at all but will help with utilization. I know her TU Fico 4 months ago was in the 750 range. These weren't for me although eventually I will be added as AU on a card or two.
