I was supposed to wait and see my credit score bouncing back from the low after applying to my Paypal Cashback, but a very nice lady in Best Buy giving me a promo of financing a Smart TV I needed to 6 months made me apply yo the Best Buy credit card where I limit of 2,500 dollars. After that, I felt lucky because Citibank had rejected me for a Citi Simplicity Card a week ago, so I decided to try with PNC Bank. I had their secured credit card for almost seven months, but then decided to try luck with the PNC Cash Rewards (That even though is very similar to my TD Cash card, the 4% in gas sounds very good and I can use the cash card without annual cap for the rest anyway) and voila, credit line of 1000 and had the secured deposit returned. Finally, I felt so confident that I decided to try with my parents (Both of them had zero credit history and just moved to the country) and I referred them to two different cards (My father through my Discover It card and my mother through my Deserve Pro card) both of them approved and now I have two more cards, 110 dollars more from the referral links and 50 with 60 for each of them instead of going to the Capital One Platinum too. Now just time to wait for a while, I have enough cards for a while.
You and your Parents...
CONGRATS on ALL of the Approvals and the Very Nice SLs!!!
Congratulations on your approvals!
Thanks, If I am honest I ws expecting a higher limit by PNC, I mean, Citibank gave me 2,500 without having any history with me at all, while PNC gave me 1000 after 7 months with a secured credit card that I used from time to time and always paid in full but whatever, crazyness of lenders. I also discovered how useful referral links are, and I am sure that I am going to use the more in the future
Congrats on your cards!
Bam!
Congratulations, to you and your parents!
