So I've had an Amex Everyday for two months so I went for the 3x CLI from $1k to $3k yesterday and that got approved! I applied for the PRG today since I've been eyeing that for a while and that got approved today as well! Thanks to the knowledge I acquired from this forum, I figured I'd maximize that hard pull and applied for the BCE immediately after, got approved for $2k!
As someone who's 19 and has a credit history of only 8 months, this website has been such a wealth of knowledge, thank you all so much!
Amex reported my Experian score at the time of application as 696, AAoA 4 months, History 8 months, $1.6k Credit available prior to my little spree.
Just to add some data points for my ED card:
1st statement (6/23-7/22): $1,121.14
-1st payment: $812.61 (7/2)
-2nd payment: $308.53 (7/22, PIF)
2nd Statement (7/23-8/23): $1,213.25
-1st payment: $305.59 (8/7)
-2nd payment: $384.17 (8/17)
-3rd payment: $491.08 (8/23, PIF)
Tried to keep my utlization below 30%, definitely failed during the second statement because I had a lot of spending to do for school about to start back up
Congrats, and thanks for posting detailed data.
Good for you on both accounts!
Amex seems really friendly lately, and I like that.
Going for 3xCLI myself on BCE next week.
