Lowe's CLI Double dip.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a recent CLI experience. I have had my Lowe's card for about 7 months now. I got it and maxed it out the first week for a big purchase, 2,500.00 starting credit limit, tried backdoor for increase but they wouldnt budge. I have been paying it down quickly and decided to hit the love button for a 2,500.00 CLI they approved me instantly for 5,000.00. so decided to take a risk and try to double dip as many on here would say i left some on the table. So I went back and asked for a total of 8,000.00 and it was instantly approved. I didnt try again as i know the max without calling is 10,000.00 But this is my highest credit card limit since I started rebuilding 4 years ago. A little data: scores are around 690 FICO 08. I have two other synchrony bank cards: Paypal: 3,000.00, 1.5 years old and Rooms to Go: 3,000.00, 4 months old

Miss my Lowes Card sorely but BK7 wiped all the syn cards in one fell swoop as is their routine. They was never included and i had nearly $80K with Synchrony on 4 good strong cards, Lowes being at $20K for years. It grew swiftly.

Manage it well and now you gotten a nice bump up look them up after every 4th statement and it might likely climb even higher.

Congrats in the increases OP. However, $10k isn't the max online for this card. I was able to get mine to $30k with the button online, and others have gotten the maximum line of $35k that way (I haven't tried). You can definitely go much higher online than $10k though, that's for sure. Next time start right out and ask for $25k. You'll either get it or they'll counteroffer

I think your thinking about Synchrony cards like Car Care where your max online cli request caps @ $10k and then you would have to call in.  There may be other store cards and/or credit cards of theirs that you'd have to call in but with Lowe's....easy peasy, smash that button with the biggest of intentions.

Anyway, whether you left anymore on the table or not..so what, cuz $8k is sweeeeeet along side your other Synch cards that was probably a very wise thing to do. Full Congrats!
