I got this card a few months ago. In a couple consecutive months I charged around $280 one month and the next was around $220. Each of those months was PIF.
Initial approval was for $2,000 and I asked for $5,000 and was approved (called in to CS). This morning I received an alert that my credit line increased to $12,000. Needless to say I was quite shocked to more than double my CL on a card I have very minimal use on. I have gotten (2) auto CLI's from Chase but I was using those cards very heavy and PIF each month.
So this is my only account with Synchrony and wondered if this is normal for them or odd?
EDIT TO ADD: Also in the same 24 hours I received an email from "Lowe's Credit Services" saying "Ask for 36 fixed monthly payments at 1.99% until PIF on flooring, appliances, kitchen and bath". <-- Is this the most likely reason for the CLI?

Probably not. I got that email too.

Probably not. I got that email too.
Ditto. They send that email out every 3-6 months it seems, season depending.

Well, that makes sense.
So those with experience with Synchrony how else can I make sense out of this auto CLI with such minimal use of my card? My profile has not changed and if anything my utilization reporting right now is higher than when I was approved for the card.
