Lucky Day with Credit Cards! Cap 1 & Discover It

Hello Everyone!

I have lurked on thes forums for quite sometime. Today I applied for the Discover It and got approved with a $1500 CL. Then, I decided to mess around on my Cap 1 accounts. While I was on the site, I remembered it was probably time to request a limit increase on my Platinum card. I got an instant increase for $3000! That was totally unexpected (the amount of the increase). I'm very excited! I can't WAIT to get my Discover It card! I wanted that card BAD!

Sidenote.... Do you think CC companies get your personal info from Google or other sites when you search for them? I'm asking because a few weeks ago I was on researching the Discover It card. I even went to the website and ALMOST applied. I changed my mind after seeing SO many people say they got denied AND some of thoes people had better FICO scores than me. Then yesterday I recieved an offer in the mail from Discover out of the blue which prompted me to apply. Has anyone else gotten requests from CC companies after visiting their sites, even though you didn't submit any personal info to them? I just felt it seemed rather fishy...

Congrats and welcome to the forums.  Happy for your CLI.  I also got a $3000 Cap 1 increase today.  There is definitely good Cap 1 mojo going on today!!!
