I have been considering adding the Macy's AMEX card to help with my Utilization since there are DPs about it - Hat Tip to
So, I decided to app for the Card online this afternoon and received an Instant Approval for $1,000. This is the usual SL for an online Macy's AMEX app, but DPs indicate that the Card grows FAST to $25,000 with CLIs. For example, CIC started with a $1,000 SL and after the 2nd statement was cut, received a $5,000 CLI earlier this month.
BTW, I was approved for both the Macy's Store Card and the Macy's AMEX and could choose one or the other. I chose the AMEX card because I wanted a Card that I could use for purchases elsewhere and the AMEX card does that. The AMEX also provides 3% rewards for restaurants, which I plan on using.

AoOA - 12.6 years
AAoA - 2.6 years
AoYA - 3 months
Income - $100K+
UTIL - 1%, from EX Report
PIF all other accounts every month with the exception of approximately $1,200 on my AmEx Cash Magnet card (still in 0% Promo interest period)
