Last night me and my SO went shopping then to dinner. Stopped in to Macy's and picked out some jeans. My SO didn't have a Macy's Card and after me going on and on and on about my CLI's with my store card this summer, other MF'ers success with both cards etc, my SO applied for the Macy's Amex instore. Several have mentioned going instore will warrant a higher SL than online and last night Citi was in a giving mood. Approved SL $8000
DP's for my SO are:
EX HP 787 F8
Util 0% (I know....crazy right....)
Total CL across all accounts is about $60,000
DTI is 15%
Application was easy. Scanned Drivers License Code on the back and then all personal information was entered on the touch pad (not by the retail clerk...had wondered about that). Approval was instant, temporary card was handed out on the spot (Receipt with barcode) and real card should arrive soon. Easy enough!
Macy's is gearing up for Christmas seems like!
Congrats!
Wow! 😳
Apping in-store definitely seems to have been a good idea. I got the fairly standard $1000 applying online which didn't help when I needed to spend much more than that on a purchase. It eventually worked out after a year of CLIs, but definitely congrats on their awesome approval!

I have to wait until November 24th myself - but that's in time for Black Friday!
Very nice.
But getting a $8k sl takes the fun out of growing a Macys cc from $300 to $25k😜
Congrats to SO ...
Grats to your SO
@AverageJoesCredit I'm already way to excited to help in registering the account online and hitting the CLI button in 31 days 😁😁
