Macy’s Approval

I applied for a Macy’s card about 2 weeks ago and received a message that I would receive a response in the mail. Didn’t hold my breath for approval. Received a letter stating they couldn’t verify my identity information. I called them, provided them with my info, read them back the special code texted to me and was then informed that I was approved and should receive my card in approximately 14 business days. I forgot to ask whether it was a store card or Amex and what the SL is. Guess I’ll find out in 14 business days.

Congrats! beware of their really high APR's if it's the store card, my last statement showed I was at 26.99%

Congrats. The deals and coupons you get with this card are great.

Both versions have a sky-high interest rate so PIF is what I’d recommend for any non-promo purchases. 26.99% is the norm.

This card is a grower. Mine started at $1200 in January and is now at $15K with minimal spend.
