Got a CLI on both the Store and Amex accts. Originally opened in September 2014; $6k Amex limit and $1200 Store limit. In the last two years I've put very little spend on the Amex acct and only financed a mattress before the major purchase accts were painfully rolled into the store accts. The Amex limit was increased to $8k Major Purchase acct was $13,400 and Store limit to $2500 prior to the Citi acquisition last year. So today I pushed the button on the Amex first, I requested $8k to $20k and they counter-offered with $9500 (which I took). Store limit I requested an increase from $15,900 to $20,000 and it was granted. So I went back to ask for more on that one and got 7-10 day notice. Either way I'm happy with the results. Now I can get a new couch

Congrats! Good to know Macy's has good growth potential. I can see using it a lot once mine has a usable limit
