Read around the forums and saw that folks were getting some love, but didn't want to risk an HP by doing it online>
Called in and confirmed it was a soft pull. Instant approval from 4500 to 15K!
Woohoo!
Now I have to decide whether I should waste a ding apping for a Best Buy CC.
Hmm...
Congratulations NikeSB -- that's a ginamous CLI. Way to go!!!!
Thanks y'all! I'm amped!
Congratulations on your increase! Very nice! I just went online to ask for a CLI tonight on my Macy's Amex and got an increase from $8,000 to $14,000. Yay me! This will definitely lower my overall utilization. Hopefully this will give me a few points boost (along with crossing the AAoA 2-year threshold).

OK, I got a little greedy and decided to try for a CLI on my regular Macy's charge card also. I had gotten an increase to $15,300 a few months ago so I was afraid that they would turn me down for another increase. I tried for it online and I got the e-mail to call their 800 number. I assumed this was their way of saying "go sit down somewhere", so intially I didn't call because I figured it was a "no" and I didn't need to hear them tell me that since the e-mail seemed to say it, but today I decided to call anyway. Thank goodness I did. They simply needed to verify some information. They asked me what I wanted my new limit to be and I said $20,000, and they said "OK"! I was shocked at how casually it happened. Needless to say I'm quite happy, especially since I'm about close on my house in mid-September and could use the extra credit for a little furniture shopping. I can't wait!
